There is increasing evidence and interest in using medicinal cannabis to treat clients with cannabis use disorder. This presentation will provide an overview of available evidence and clinical issues in using THC and CBD based medicines to assist clients to manage their cannabis use, recognising that different people have different treatment goals – some may want to stop cannabis use altogether, others may want to reduce their use, whilst others may want to reduce the harms of dependence to illicit cannabis and view medicinal cannabis as a harm reduction strategy.
